By: Ashley Oyama Big Island Reporter  What's better then 1 weigh in? Try 2 of em'! Unfortunately my super powers only allowed me to attend the weigh ins at Lulu's in Kailua Kona. The other took place at Hawaii International Family Fitness Center in Hilo.
Getting started a little past 6, fighters started to pour in with their families. After filling out paperwork and hanging out, It really didn't feel like a fight was going to happen tomorrow. More like this huge pre party instead! Being that some fighters opponents were in Hilo, they started the weigh ins with those whose opponents weren't present.
Now to the fighters whose opponents were there. I know your expecting all this "Bad Blood" crazy head fakes at the weigh ins and scary stare downs till someones eyes pops out. Sorry to dissapoint, but the only heat there, was the humidity of Kona town weather and maybe Elia Mundon of Polynesian Fight Clubs scary staredown to Dylan Filekes of Average Joes. I was about 10 feet away and he still scared me! As K-Towns star Kaleo Padilla of Kona Boxing Club weighed in against Hilo's own Chris Cisneros of Hawaiian MMA Hilo, the crowd got pumped up! The fighters were ready and the crowd was too. Don't forget to come down to see all the action live in the most jammed packed card of the year tomorrow night at the Kona Gym. Doors open at 4pm, and all the action starts at 5pm. The line up is finalized below.
