Don’t let the name fool you into thinking that Heavy Metal Barbell Co. is just one of those “Go big or go home” types of businesses. Whether you are a competitive athlete or a “newbie,” you will be pleasantly surprised because they are able to accommodate the needs of anyone aiming to get fit, get toned or get strong.
First off, this convenient, centrally-located downtown business has lots of parking right in front. That’s right... downtown AND parking!
Secondly, they’ve got everything… yoga mats, fitness accessories, small dumbbells to heavy ones, weights (rubber-coated too), a huge variety of bars, belts galore, cable accessories, protein and other supplements, gloves, straps, cardio equipment, multi-function systems, kickboxing supplies, heavy-duty equipment, travel fitness sets, and most importantly, qualified people with experience who can actually tell you how to use these correctly.

In addition, they are the exclusive distributor of Life Fitness equipment (the one’s you’ve seen all over the place with trainers, treadmills, bikes, etc.) and PowerTec (the leading heavy-duty plate-load) equipment—killer strong.

Finally, a place where Service IS the way they do business and Kevin Yoshida, the owner, exemplifies this. I found Kevin to epitomize customer service—something that more businesses today need to focus on. No macho, muscleman attitude to deal with… just sincere, knowledgeable, and helpful people that you can trust.
I’m making Heavy Metal my first stop for exercise supplies and equipment and for a refreshing bit of old-style, local business carrying modern innovations in exercise.
Heavy Metal Barbell Co. - 627 South St, Ste 102 (808)536-7323.

Dude WTF are you talking about? So your telling me that Kevin and LadyAdmin is the same person? If you don't know wtf you talking about you should just stay off the thread. You act like I supposed to be scared or something telling me to tell Kevin in his face. YOU MAKE ASS. Next get your facts straight or read good.

Nah Kevin no one is offended. I just think if your a mod/admin you should abide by the rules that "you" set in place. If it was anybody else it would get removed and they would ask you to read the rules about advertising on the forum.I guess thats the perks of being a mod. And on another note,How do I sign up to be a rogue mod. j/k. Also nice to see Sage fighting again. That kid got mad skills. You have a good one.

I agree with you 96797 as well. For some odd reason this thread posted into the Hawaii MMA discussion thread instead of the "other" section...
Thanks for catching yet another error!

Actually I'm not a moderator for this forum. I'm not sure who all the mods are here but I was just lucky that Lady Admin posted this for me. Thanks for the props on Sage. He has been training hard and hopefully we can see him compete more. He is really busy with school and in fact his last fight he was studying at the weigh-ins...lol. The morning of his fight he had a speech final in which he had to do a speech about what he enjoys. He had to do this in japanese. He spoke about his kickboxing and he got an A on his speech. Thanks again for complimenting him.

I was not referring to you as a Mod, I was referring to the thread starter. Also keep us updated with Sages fights. He always put on a show.
