X-1 World Events is starting the New Year with their largest show ever. Fans can expect a night to remember as some of the best MMA athletes fight for the X1 World Title Belts!
As an added bonus there will be live performances by “Natural Vibrations” to add to a night of exciting entertainment.
Main Event features “Falaniko Vitale”, former UFC fighter and Hawaii’s hero! He will be challenged in a four man tournament against King of the Cage veteran Brendan Seguin, KOTC veteran Joey “Coyote “ Guel, and submission artist Kenny Ento. One of these brave men will be the new X-1 World Middleweight Champ.
X-1 State Heavyweight Champ Analu Brash –VS- Ron Waterman, UFC & Pride veteran will fight for the new X-1 Heavyweight World Title!
2nd time return UFC veteran, Chad Reiner returns to fight Mark Moreno to a rematch for a shot at the X-1 World Welterweight Belt.
BJ Penn student Sugar Shane Nelson from Hilo is defending his X-1 Lightweight World Title against Kaleo Kwan.
X-1 Super Lightweight World Champ Eddie Yagin is defending his belt against Dirty Dave Moreno.
X-1 State Amateur Title will be up for grabs when the two undefeated amateur fighters Steve Farmer and Sean Sakata meet face to face in the ring for the first time!
The icing on the cake is Mia “The Knock Out” St. John 2 x World Boxing Champ will make her first debut MMA fight against Rhonda Gallegoes.
The event will be held at Hawaii’s Premier Entertainment venue the Neal Blaisdell Arena in the heart of Honolulu on January 26, 2008.
Doors open at 4:30pm and first BOUT starts at 5:00pm.
