EGAN INOUE EAGER TO RETURN
Hawaii mixed martial arts legend Egan Inoue makes a return to the sport he popularized headlining an all star fight card Friday night, May 16, 2008, at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena. Inoue, who last fought in December 2003, signed an exclusive contract with X1 World Events, the promoter of the May event.
An accomplished athlete, Inoue is a former 5X World SuperBrawl/Icon Champion, 2X World Racquetball Champion, 2X Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion, 2X Winner in Pride, and has been contracted by the U.S. Navy to trained SEALs, the elite navel special forces unit. Since leaving the ring, Inoue parlayed his knowledge and skill of martial arts to the business world opening fitness gyms The Studio and Grappling - Unlimited that specializes in boxing, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, self defense, and basic conditioning.
Inoue has appeared in a Movie series Blood of the Samurai, and since then has made National and International publications EX: Modern Luxury, Gong Magazine (Japan), seventeen Magazine, Pacific Business News, and many more.
