the only ECC i know is the Extreme Combat Challenge. the promoter is Chaz Bowlin. their main HQ is in Muncie, Indiana.

most of Icon's midwest fighters come from the ECC. when Icon uses mainland fighters from "Team Wolfpack," they aren't really a team but instead a "best of" the ECC. the fighters come from all over, but come to Hawaii as a unified "Team Wolfpack." Icon, ECC (Indiana), the EC (Extreme Challange, Iowa-run by famous MMA manager Monte Cox) are closely tied together.

are you asking about a local event that has the same acronym?

As stated on the commercial for this event go to www.kobk.tv and leave all questions and information there about this event, or kobkhawaii@yahoo.com we are in the process of putting the event together and will issue further information regarding the show. It may not be held in Hawaii due to the volume of shows being put on and the fighter pot being so touchy, hopefully some "new" up and coming fighters will join the fold for we don't want any problems with other promotions.

i'd like to see the ECC 16 man tourney. there's still room for more MMA shows in Hawaii.

I am excited about this event. Hopefully it doesn't happen until later this year, because I have a few touch ups to take care of, but as soon as I'm ready I'm sending in my information to see if I can get in on this. It's great for some of the new fighters on the scence because it's a new event so there is an oppurtunity to show your skills without being overlooked because of a "big" name fighter. All in all, I sincerely hope this happens. Any other fighters out there thinking about entering?
