i'm gonna keep the ticket prices low ($25/$20 for g.a. & $35/$30 for ringside) to offset the event's frequency. there's not really many events consisitently catering to the Windward side and Military, so i think Patriot's primary customer base will not conflict with other shows.

i foresee more conflicts with talent/fighters. but thats a good thing. in any case, the Patriot show is not meant for top-tier guys, its meant for up-and-comers.

I wish you luck in your event..But i feel you guys have to somehow cordinate your schedule with other promoters so that we all don't run into eachother..

It's amazing that the promoters get along so well on Oahu. It let's up and coming fighters participate in multiple events without backlash, or bias. Good job guys, and way to be role models! Keep it up.

PIP...thank for the info. I havent planned past July 14 at this moment, but i'll make sure we dont butt-up to each other on the August calendar.

i'd probably look at a the following weekend if I did August.

i'm hoping to build Patriot to a monthly show, but it will sputter at the start as we work out kinks, ramp-up, etc.

i have some new people helping me with this show, so i dont want to rush into it.

Hey there Icon, I was just wondering if the Middleweight Title previosuly held by Steve Byrnes will be up for grabs? I know he was undefeated, and then he left to UFC and also that it was Full Contact Fighter. Same organization, but name change so does that mean the title is up for grabs? I am curious because I am one of the fighters who is trying to get on your MMA show for PFC in August, and I was just wanting to know who the potential champions would be since the guys with the most experince would be first up for it (unless there was a tournament or in the future...hint hint...wink wink). After the Icon Epic event in March I know you know how to throw together a great show, so I am not trying to tell you how to run it! I was just trying to get closer to the gold...hmmmmm...gold.

Well, however it goes down I'm sure it will be a great show, and hopefully the beginning of an amazing new venue. Are you or any of your reps going to the Quest for Champions 2007?

Sorry for all of you who aren't familar with the event called "Full Contact Fighter"...probably because it's only a brand. It was "Full Contact SHOWDOWN". My mistake, I was just excited about the gold...actually I am more excited about the variety of fighters and their syles, but the gold is always nice.

now that you got icon card done....any insight as to who/what we can look forward too for this event...

icon...i think you are an awesome promoter, i just love to debate with you..... growing up i was always told to be a lawyer too.... but please don't take anything to heart... i have this habit...when i have a question on my mind i have to ask it....or it bothers the hell out of me.... =)
