It is the hopes of most in the business of MMA to see that they have made a difference in the sport and

those who participate. The promoter of our local Kauai Cage Match, Vance Pascua, has poured no less than his heart and soul

into all that he has done for the sport of MMA here in Hawaii. His exploits will finally be recognized as he is inducted into the Masters Hall of Fame which recognizes excellence in

Martial Arts.

There will be a dinner in Vance's honor held on June 19th, 2010 at the Anaheim Hilton in California. Over the past 11 years, this organization has been bringing to light many of those who have made such a difference in our beloved sport. The ring that will be presented to Vance Pascua is manufactured by the same who make the coveted Heisman Trophy as well as the Congressional Medal of Honor.

This will no doubt be a joyous occasion not only for Vance, but for all of Hawaii. One of our own has been noticed for doing so much for the sport, and we shall all smile on June 19th as he is accepted into an elite circle of others like him, who have made their mark on the sport as a whole. Congratulations to Vance, and thank you for all that you have done.
