 Local stand out, Brad Tavares, has recently made his impact on a national scene with his fantastic performance on Spike TV's The Ultimate Fighter. His personality and laid back attitude made him one of the favorites of the entire cast. Not to mention his victories in fantastic fashion kept not only the fans entertained, but UFC President Dana White as well.

But Brad didn't jut appear out of thin air. He was once one of our local legion of fighters who poors their heart and sould into the local scene. Inevitably Brad moved to Vegas to further his skills and his abilities in the sport of MMA, but after his big win at the TUF finale, he is back to the islands for a little rest.

Brad is overjoyed to be back to Hawaii for now and says that being here with friends and family was something that he missed. He has so much appreciation for the local fans who have given him so much support. He is glad to see his friends, his fans, his family and his beloved dog that he even mentioned on the show.

All of the MMA family here in Hawaii is glad that he calls Hawaii "Home".
