Russell Doane is a very humble, very integral part of the machine known as 808 Top Team. He has been wowing fans with every performance since he emerged on the scene. From scrappy amateur to crafty pro, Doane has been constantly evolving his skills and finding sides of himself that he never knew were there. His trek from first timer to fan favorite, and now to champion and prospect, have been amazing to behold. Russell has become one of the fastest rising stars in his division and he shows no signs of slowing. With the correct team around him and the right mindset he could quite possibly achieve success on the highest level. After his recent decision to try out for Spike TV’s The Ultimate Fighter, Russell Spoke with MMA Hawaii about his experiences.
