The Big Boys and MMA Hawaii Expo has just confirmed the addition of Strikeforce Lightweight Champion, Gilbert Melendez, to the list of special guests. Melendez is thought by many to be one of the pound for pound best fighters in the world. His most recent victory was over highly regarded Japanese fighters, Tatsuya Kawajiri and Shinya Aoki.

The Strikeforce Champ will be joining the likes of teammate and recent UFC Welterweight #1 contender , Jake Shields, UFC Middleweights Kendall Grove and Chris Leben, and MMA legend Falaniko Vitale.

The event takes place at the Blaisdell Convention Center on Friday, June 17th, Saturday, 18th, and Sunday, 19th in Honolulu Hawaii.
