Harry Alonso is many things. He is an entrepreneur who has his hand in Orange Grove Frozen Yogurt franchise, Sun Pacific Group Real Estate, and an entertainment company known as Two Flip Productions. But he is also a heavy hitter in the Filipino community in Hawaii. As a person who has been involved with said community since 1995, his dedication is very evident. Alonso began as a member of the Oahu Filipino Jaycees, chaired the Filipino Fiesta & Parade for 6 years, and also chaired the Mabuhay Festival.

Mr. Alonso was recently announced as the President of the Filipino Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii. The 41 year old business man seems to be perfectly suited for the job considering his passion for both smart business and the Filipino community. At a dinner celebrating Alonso’s appointment as President of the Filipino Chamber of Commerce, guests were treated to an evening of honest conversation about the future of the organization and were also treated to a number of celebrity guests including Lt. Governor Ryan Schatz, Honolulu Mayor Peter Carlisle, Senator Will Espero, Councilwoman Tulsi Gabbard, Councilman Ernest Martin, and many more.
