"August 27th is a great day to die. . . " - Kendall Grove E-mail
Local MMA News

Story By: King Eddie

kendallKendall Grove is coming into his ProElite bout next week against Joe Riggs with nothing to lose. This fight, which is a rematch of a fight that took place 6 years ago, is one that Kendall is attacking with drive, determination, and a passion like never before.

"The last time I fought at the Blaisdell, the only time, was my first fight with him. He knocked me out. That's not going to happen this time. I get this chance to avenge my loss and finally spread my wings."

This will be Kendall's first fight back in Hawaii in years and he could not be more dead set on putting on the best show for his home state fans. He has learned so much from his career to this point, and has been in the cage with so many of the best fighters in the world.

" The last time, Joe fought a kid. This time he is fighting a seasoned veteran."

The complete emotion in the voice of Grove was apparent while MMA Hawaii spoke with him. He is a fighter on a mission to get revenge, to get respect, to impress his home state and the fans who supported him from the start. This is the most focused Grove that there has ever been. Kendall is coming into his fight with Riggs with every intention of ending Riggs or being ended trying. . .
