The last two days in Honolulu have been star studded and electric. The fighters for ProElite's Comeback card have journeyed from both near and far to make this fight card amazing. From Andrei Arlovski to Joe Riggs and Sara McMann, the non local talent seems to be enjoying the aloha. And the local fighters such as Raquel Paaluhi, Kendall Grove, Reno Remigio, Kyle Foyle, and many others have come to fight for the hometown. This is a monumental opportunity for the local fighters and they dont plan to disappoint.
The highly hyped match between Reagan Penn and Paul Gardiner came to a face off with a smile. Unlike the staredown that Andrei Arlovski gave to Ray Lopez. Both fights look as if they will not disappoint. The main event is a rematch of Kendall Grove and Joe Riggs. Both UFC vets are hungry for a win in fantastic fashion and neither appear to be willing to back down. Former UH football player Jake Heun is geared up and ready to take down top AKA prospect Mark Ellis. All the fights are shaping up to be action packed.
With the event set for Saturday and the fighters getting ready, the next chance to see the intensity will be tomorrow at weight ins, here at the Princess Kaiulani hotel. The cast of extras floating around includes Greg Jackson, Julie Kedzie, Big John McCarthy, Jens Pulver and BJ Penn.
