Tasi "The Tyrant" Edwards has hit the road. He packed his bags and headed out on a journey to gather knowledge from some of the best in the fight game. "The Tyrant" is currently in LA and training at the world famous Wildcard Gym.

In a statement released to MMA Hawaii, Tasi shed a little light on the who's-who of fighters that he has been fortunate enough to share the gym with.

"In the gym was Amir Khan, Brian Villoria, and Roberto Garcia. I shared the ring with Peter Quillin while he was hitting pads with Freddie Roach. I was working with top trainer, Marcus Harvey. I have also been working a lot of gi and no gi with Chris Lisciandro Street Sports BJJ Club. I've been staying with and working with my strength and conditioning coach, Justin Garfield."

Tasi expressed the absolute honor that he felt by being able to train within the four walls in which so many great champions have trained. To see the hard work and dedication that each of the fighters was putting in. And he especially felt a swell of pride to be able to represent Hawaii alongside Brian Villoria in the gym. Edwards thanked Freddie for the opportunity to train in the gym, and was able to capture this snapshot.

His time at the gym is even more abuzz considering that Manny Pacquiao is preparing for his upcoming fight. Due to his and several other high profile fights from members of the gym, the wealth of talent that is in the building is literally overwhelming.

In a few short words Tasi described his thoughts on his travels. . . "I miss the islands but have got to constantly try to grow and build a better fighter, as a pro athlete. I love this game. I'm a born gladiator, it's in my bloodline. My destiny is to live as a warrior and die as a king. Conquer yourself and the world is already yours for the taking."

Also would like to add to his mother Renita Edwards and his son Tiaje. . . " I love you and miss you!"
