The "Grand Opening of the UFC Gym BJ Penn" was today in Honolulu, and there was action all around. The star studded cast of attendees featured Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champ Chuck Liddell, Mark Munoz, The Last WEC Lightweight Champ Anthony Pettis, Brendan Schaub, and former Strikeforce Standout Josh Thomson. Also, Olympic Bronze Medalist in Wrestling, Clarissa Chun was on hand as well. And as usual around the gym, former TUF contestant and UFC fighter, now head of MMA in the gym, Scott Junk.

Though there were many in attendance, the big names weren't the main draw of the day. It was the atmosphere. Such a great turn out by the local UFC fans and those who were interested in the gym. The vendors outside capped off the event by offering awesome products like Hawaiian Fight Gear.

As a whole the grand opening was grand indeed. And there are whispers of the possibility of another location coming soon.
