Once again "Toughman Hawaii" is bringing the action to the Big Island with it's latest event this weekend. And as usual, there will be plenty of action for the fans to see. Hawaii's top flight talent in kickboxing will compete head to head in the Toughman Hawaii Ring.
The Hilo Civic Center will definitely be full as some of the best fighters of the islands go head to head. One of those fighters, Arnold Berdon.
" I always train hard for every fight. So I'm ready for a war. I want a war. Plus I used to live on the Big Island so I have a lot of friends and family there to support me." - Berdon
Arnold is coming off of a huge victory in a another promotion, and is looking to continue his success with another victory here. Look for his fight to be up for fight of the night.
And in a highly anticipated matchup of fast paced strikers, Chad Pavao will be taking on Riquo Abadilla. Chad is known for his fast hands and hard kicks. He has put on wars with some of the top talent in Hawaii and will do nothing short of war with Abadilla.
"He is the best in Hilo right now. I want to go to war. A knockout would be nice, but I want a war." - Pavao
Abadilla is also one of the most feared names in the game right now. His ability to move and strike make his a hard fighter to handle. Very rarely can he be caught standing still. As a top fighter representing the Big Island against the O'ahu fighter in Pavao, Abadilla will have homefield advantage, but that likely means little once the bell rings. Expect a battle to the very end. Two great fighters, one amazing matchup.
"I'm not expecting anything less than he is. We are both technical strikers, so I will do all I have to do to win. I know he doesn't think it's going to be easy because this is going to be a scrap, guaranteed." - Abadilla
Catch the fireworks this Saturday, (September 1) at Hilo Civic Center when Toughman Hawaii brings the action once more.
