Destiny: Na Koa will be held this weekend at the Blaisdell Arena. For the first time in the promotions elustrious history, they will take on the big stage of O'ahu and they have stacked up quite the fight card for such an event.

Though throughout the card there are numerous battles worth mentioning, I will like to take this time to really focus on the headlining bout. Hawaii's own, Johnavan "The Immortal Warrior" Vistante will be going head to head with one of MMA's most well known Journeyman in Charles "Kid Khaos" Bennet.

The fighter formerly known as "Krazy Horse" is one of MMA most controversial and entertaining fighters. He has hands made of dynamite and a slam that rivals that of Rampage in his heyday. The Pride, KOTC, and EliteXC veteran has rustled up 16 KO victories in his 26 wins, and now sets his sights on our own rising star, Johnavan Vistante.

Bennett's record may go back and forth, but his ability to end the fight quit is always present. As a tough fighter from Ocala, Florida, he has never fought the technical style many have grown accustomed to in the more modern version of MMA. He likes to throw caution to the wind and Taunt his opponents, throw haymakers, and deal out vicious slams. But Bennett may have his hands full with The Immortal Warrior.

We have all seen Johnavan on the rise for years now. He made his transition from boxing and kickboxing into MMA almost seamlessly. Even making it to the top 32 fighters for the last season of The Ultimate Fighter.

Johnavan has had wars on all shores and battled it out with some of the toughest fighters in the world. Most of the time, he did it at a weight class above what he should have been fighting. His explosive and inventive striking have paved the way in his victories, and struck fear into the hearts of many who once thought they were "strikers". This is much of what Bennet must look out for in the battle this weekend at the blaisdell. Johnavan is unpredictable on his feet, and beginning to round out his ground game to match it.

Vistante has proven time and time again that his slender frame packs one hell of a punch, or kick, or knee, or elbow. All around the man is a weapon. And at any time, from any angle, at lightening fast speeds, he will strike. After all that is what makes him immortal. Even in his defeats he held a victory. The victory of the stand up warrior. Though Bennett may think he likes to strike, Vistante does tend to awaken the Wrestler in his opponents due to his reach, accuracy, and unbelievable speed.

This fight between both unpredictable KO artists, will be one for the ages. Be there at the Blaisdell on September 8th to witness this monumental event. Destiny: Na Koa will be one for the ages. Don't miss this opportunity to see Hawaii's top flight talent take on fighters from around the world to prove that MMA in Hawaii is nothing to mess with.
