UFC on FOX 1 topped out with 8.8 Million viewers for Heavyweight Title Fight
This past weekend's UFC on FOX headliner between Cain Velasquez and new champ Junior Dos Santos peaked with a solid 8.8 million viewers on the FOX network. In addition to breaking the UFC record, the UFC on FOX event also set a record for the highest-rated MMA event on U.S. network television. That record previously was held by 2008's "EliteXC: Primetime" event, which scored 4.3 million viewers (and peaked with 6.5 million for a Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson vs. James Thompson headliner) on CBS.
AKA's Fitch, Koscheck, Cormier, and Rockhold lead the UFC's San Jose community initiative
"Times are pretty hard right now," Fitch said. "There's a lot of people out of work. It's nice to be able to help out a little bit. It's not really going to fix any problems, but it's something. It's a start. Something's better than nothing."
DREAM's year end event adds Takaya vs Inoue for the title, and Kawajiri vs Miyata

HDNet Fights CEO Andrew Simon said the event will air on HDNet.Official MMA bouts includes DREAM featherweight champ Hiroyuki Takaya (16-9-1 MMA, 7-2 DREAM) vs. Takeshi "Lion" Inoue (21-5 MMA, 2-1 DREAM) and featherweights Tatsuya Kawajiri (29-7-2 MMA, 9-2 DREAM) vs. Kazuyuki Miyata (11-8 MMA, 4-2 DREAM).
First UFC on FX event targeted for January 20th in Nashville
As UFC officials announced on Wednesday, the first UFC on FX event features welterweights Josh Neer (32-10-1 MMA, 5-6 UFC) vs. Duane "Bang" Ludwig (22-11 MMA, 4-2 UFC) and heavyweights Pat Barry (6-4 MMA, 3-4 UFC) vs. Christian Morecraft (7-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC). However, an event date, location and venue were not initially revealed.
UFC on FOX officially draws 11,607 attendance for $1.07 Million Gate
This past weekend's UFC on FOX event officially drew an attendance figure of 11,607 and a live gate of $1,072,187, California State Athletic Commission officials today confirmed
