Rashad Evans vs Phil Davis expected to Headline UFC on FOX 2
Since his win over Tito Ortiz, Rashad has again faced injury preventing him from competing against former teammate, and now champ, Jon Jones. Evans will face Phil Davis, who is undefeated in his pro career with wins over Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Tim Boetsch, Alexander Gustafsson, Rodney Wallace, and Brian Stann.
Strikeforce vet, Brett Rogers, sentenced to 60 days in jail due to assualt charge
After pleading guilty to felony third-degree assault, Bret Rogers will was sentenced to 60 days in jail. Having already served 26 days when originally arrested,the judge has reduced the actual sentence to slightly over two weeks.
Dave Herman and Stefan Struve are verbally agreed, but not confirmed, for UFC on FUEL TV 1
Stefan Struve will be coming into the cage off of a 2nd round Submissioin of the night victory over Pat Barry. His previous notible fight was when Travis Browne added him to the list of "Highlight Reel" knockouts. Herman is also coming in off of a win, but also a suspension for testing positive for Marijuana, which denied his license to fight Mike Russow.
