As the word comes across the wire today, MMA fans are all collectively breathing a sigh of relief. It's official, The Reem is good to go for his clash with fellow UFC Leviathan, Brock Lesnar.

There has been wide spread speculation over the past couple of years about Overeem using PED's, and even more light was shed on the situation when he missed his drug test issued by the NSAC. But it was all conveyed as a misunderstanding. Overeem had gone back to Holland to tend to his mother who had fallen ill, and was unsure of the requirements for the drug tests.

Upon being granted a conditional license, he was subject to two more pre fight drug test, as well as a test the night of the fight. He submitted his test in the UK recently and the results came back clean. There are no steroids in the system of The Reem, so this fight is on like Donkey Kong.

On Friday December 30th, 2011, the UFC and it's fans will witness one of the most hyped fights of all time.
