Leonard Garcia has been forced to withdraw from his UFC 144 match-up with Tiquan Zhang due to injury.
The popular brawler, Garcia, was hoping to snap a two loss streak with his performance in Japan, but after suffering an injury while training he has no choice but to pull out. The date of his return is unclear and the UFC has still yet to find a replacement for "Bad Boy".
Zhang has a 1-1 UFC record. His last fight, a decision loss to Darren Elkins at UFC 136.
UFC 144 is set to take place in Saitama, Japan at the Saitama Super Arena. The card is packed with Japanese MMA stars as well as former Pride Fighting Championships favorites, now UFC fighters. Scheduled to headline the affair are UFC Lightweight Champion, Frankie Edgar, and top contender, Ben Henderson.
