With the Champ, Jose Aldo, out of his UFC 149 bout with Erik Koch, the UFC has decided to move the Interim Title bout between Urijah Faber and Renan Barao into it's main event slot.

The flood of injuries to top talent on upcoming fight cards has injured the UFC moreso than anyone else. Card after card the list of injuries piles up, leading the matchups to be jumbled and some even fumbled.

The fans are crying out that something has to change but what can really be done?Aldo's injury is definitely the icing on the cake for most ticket purchasers of UFC 149, but the replacement bout isn't really a terrible substitution.

As the UFC forges on, doing all that they can to salvage each event, we can only wait and see. After all, this is MMA. The TRUE anything can happen sport.
