Travis-Browne_Josh-Hedges-Getty-ImagesTravis "Hapa" Browne was pulled fromt his UFC on FOX bout with Ben Rothwell after Rothwell withdrew due to injury. But a bigger opporutnity has materialized for the Hawaiian scrapper. Literally!

Browne (13-0-1 MMA, 4-0-1 UFC)  will now face Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva (16-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at UFC on FX 5 which takes place on October 5 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The two will be scoring the headlining bout.

Travis is still undefeated in his career with his only blemish as a draw with Cheick Kongo back in October of 2010. His recent win streak has included Stefan Struve, Rob Broughton, and Chad Griggs.

Silva is coming off of a first round defeat to #1 Contender and former Heavyweight Champion, Cain Velasquez. Previous to that, he lost in the semi fials of the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix to Daniel Cormier via KO in the first round. But prior to his losses, Silva racked up three wins in a row over Andrei Arlovski, Mike Kyle, and the great Fedor Emilianenko.

In addition to Browne vs Silva as the headlining bout, the UFC on FX 5 fight card is expected to have 3 more main card fights, and prelims airing on FUEL TV.
