Famed manager of Brazilian powerhouses such as Lyoto Machida, Anderson Silva, and The Noguiera Brothers, will be taking on the title of President for Nebraska based, Resurrection Fighting Alliance.

Ed Soares is well known amongst the MMA faithful for his duties as a top notch manager. As a matter of fact, he has inked some of the biggest deals in the business. We don't call big money in the biz, "Anderson Silva Money" because Ed is bad at his job. He knows the business in and out, and will be taking that knowledge to the promotional end now.

Some of his managing responsibilities will now be handed to his partner, Jorge Guimaraes.

"We still have a management business," Soares said. "This announcement has no bearing on anything."

"I'm not relieving any of my responsibilities as a manager, I'm just taking on a little more responsibility elsewhere."

Soares assures that if any of his clients are to strike deals with the RFA, he will allow his partner to handle the details and he will take himself out of the negotiations. He is taking the reigns of a promotion that holds such names as Jens Pulver, Tyson Griffen, Dakota Cochrane, Joe Stevenson, and Gilbert Yvel.
