He's done it! Only a few hours ago, in Brazil, Hawaii's own Tyson Nam took down one of the most dangerous bantamweights in the world. Eduardo Dantas has been skyrocketing in popularity since his capture of the Bellator Bantamweight title.Though this was not for the Bellator Belt, Nam has without a doubt scored major respect among the global MMA industry.

In the very frist round, Nam delivered a Knockout blow that would send Dantas crashing to the mat, and shock the Brazilian fans on hand. Shooto Brazil 33 was an event that was supposed to be swept by the heavy favorite, Dantas, but our local boy put a stop to those hopes.

Previous to this loss, Dantas had only lost twice before. Once was by DQ, and the other was a decision to Masakatu Ueda. The Nova Uniao product is clearly one of the best in the world at 135, and Tyson Nam may be able to parlay this victory into a big show contract. Taking out the Bellator champ with a first round KO should get the attention of the big time organizations.
